I have the great honor to be playing in three different concerts at this year's Beethoven Festival in Bonn.
This event is called "Cage Night", organised by pianist and my duo partner, Susanne Kessel, in honor of John Cage's 100th year. It will take place from 7pm to midnight at the Bonn contemporary Art Museum.
I hope that you can make it! It will be a fabulous evening of 4x 40 minute concerts!
I have attached our program, and there will be lot's more music of John Cage and other contemporary composers happening in the space throughout the evening and simultaneously!
On of the concerts will feature the 100th year of another milestone of music, Olivier Messiaen. Susanne has recently completed a CD of Messiaen's music along with works of mine for solo piano and electronics, as well as soundscapes, soon to be released by Oehms Classic in co production with the Deutschlandfunk.
Please see the festival's site for all the information at: http://en.beethovenfest.de/programm/#
Very best,
Leon.
